Striking after-hours CAS workers reject latest offer – Toronto Star

A month-long strike of emergency after-hours staff at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto continues after the union “overwhelmingly” rejected the agency’s latest offer Monday.

The 23 part-time workers who take phone calls from vulnerable children, foster parents, group homes and the public during evenings and weekends are seeking parity with their counterparts at the Catholic Children’s Aid of Toronto.
